Big square, small square, cardboard box…
Big square, small square, cardboard box…
This week we have been learning about shapes. We can identify all manner of different lines and angles (not ANGELS) and can even name some very unusual looking shapes. By the end of the week we were using our knowledge of 2D shapes to help us solve the ancient Chinese Tangram puzzle (it was quite tricky and we didn’t manage to find all the answers but we had a really good try).
This week has also seen the Vikings land in Limbrick class so thank you to all those who spent their half term holidays building a Viking shield – they look brilliant.
Finally we spent a little time in Astley class on Monday using special wordless books to share with them the Good News about Jesus. The children were told to take them home to see if they could share the Good News with their families as well.
