Admissions
We would like to welcome potential new families to make an appointment through the office to visit school. Instead of hosting one open afternoon for the whole school year, we would much rather offer you a more personal welcome to our school. Each family will be given their own tour of the school by our headteacher, giving you chance to see how our school family work together on a typical school day. You'll have the chance to meet our children and teachers during their lessons and see an authentic representation of the school you may potentially send your child to in September.
Please feel free to call or email our school office at any time.
Find our info on the Contact Us page.

Applying for a school place - 'in year' transitions
In-year admission is the process of applying for a school place during the school year. Any application made after the intake at the start of the autumn term, will be treated as an in-year application.
The in-year admission process is managed by us as a school. If you would like to move your child to our school, you should complete our in-year application form, which is available below. If we are unable to offer your child a place, you have a legal right to appeal to an independent appeal panel. Lancashire County Council administers the appeals process on behalf of the school. The school's appeal form can be found on Lancashire County Council's Website - Appeal for a school place - Lancashire County Council
For any enquiries please contact our Admin Officer, Helen Clarkson at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School on 01257 265998 or via email at helenc@st-josephs-chorley.lancs.sch.uk.
