In September 2022, we opened our brand new kitchen!
Having extended the space and invested in new state of the art equipment, we're excited to be able to upgrade our offer of healthy school meals. Our meals use fresh produce from local suppliers. Bread and cakes are freshly baked in our kitchens daily. Where possible, we even serve vegetables picked fresh from our school grounds.
When children come to the school kitchen at dinner time, they will have at least two hot nutritious meals to choose from. We hope that by letting the children choose their meal once they can see and smell the options, they will hopefully be encouraged to try new things.
School meals are currently £2.50 per day, £12.50 a week. We ask that where possible meals are paid for in advance every Friday for the following week. Parents may also pay in advance on a monthly basis if they wish. Parents are now able to pay for school meals online through a SCOpay account.
