Preschool

The preschool provision we provide is designed to give your child the best start to their school life. We have created a beautiful, calm classroom environment so the children are able to feel safe and comfortable as they learn. Each area is set up to promote different areas of development and encourage independence as the children often choose their own path for learning. Our preschool children can often be found outdoors, no matter the weather! Foraging and exploring in forest school, serving mud pies in our outdoor kitchen, engaging in water and sensory play as well as enjoying lots of fun games and physical storytelling.

We have so much to offer here at St Joseph’s. We are very proud of the wonderful preschool team we have built. Each member of staff brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for educating the youngest members of our school. All achievements and milestones are celebrated, no matter how big or small. Each child is treated as an individual, nurtured and lovingly cared for so they can develop into their very best self.

We offer term time only places allowing parents to claim their 15 or 30 hours funding. Currently, we require a minimum of two days attendance a week, to secure your child’s place. Parent’s may also take advantage of our before and after school club that is already run in school.
