Outdoor Classroom

On Friday it was empty classroom day. As part of our celebration of learning outdoors and our Africa topic Birkacre ventured down to the Garden of Eden to cook bananas – African style!

Great fun was had by all, smearing bananas in butter and sugar unfortunately the weather did not play fair and kept blowing our bonfire out. Not to be defeated we took our bananas to the oven and cooked them in there. Birkacre’s verdict!? They did not taste as good as they smelled.
