Exciting Visit from Holy Cross High School

Yesterday, Year 6 had a very special visit from Mr. Lindley, the Headteacher at Holy Cross High School. He came to speak to the children about what life at secondary school is like and explained some of the key differences between primary and secondary school. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to get a real insight into what to expect in the next stage of their education.

We were also joined by two of our former pupils, Joseph and Evie, who shared their experiences of starting high school. They spoke openly about the first weeks at Holy Cross, offering tips, reassurances, and some funny stories that had everyone listening intently.

It was wonderful to see our Year 6 pupils so engaged, asking thoughtful questions and learning from those who had recently walked in their shoes. Visits like this help make the transition to secondary school a little less daunting and a lot more exciting!
