Vashti Hardy Author Visit!

Today, we had an amazing visit from award-winning author Vashti Hardy!

The visit was perfect timing as Year 6 are about to start reading her novel 'Brightstorm' as their class reader.

Vashti spoke to the children about her writing process, how she builds worlds for her novels and gave the children some tips on how they could create their own fantasy world, which we'll definitely be following up on after half-term.

Vashti also signed books that the children had purchased and a few more that we have bought for our school library.
