The sun has got it’s hat on hip, hip, hip hurray!!

What a lovely week we have had enjoying the rare British sunshine. Long may it continue…

We started our week with a visit to church to look at the beautiful Easter garden and discuss the good news we received on Easter Sunday as ‘Good News’ is our new Come and See topic.

After looking at the different habitats Minibeasts like to live in, we walked down to the Garden of Eden armed with magnifying glasses to find some. At first we were unsuccessful but we worked together to turn over a HUGE log and underneath we discovered loads of our favourite crawlies!

In maths we have been looking at money, setting up shop outside and using coins to buy items from its very limited stock (let those little hands into your wallet, purse or pocket this week and see if they can identify the coins.)

And even after all that we still found time to celebrate the queens 90^th birthday by decorating the class room and making cards. She would be mightily impressed!
