There is something wriggling in our classroom…

Welcome back after the Easter holiday, I hope you’ve all had a relaxing break. This week in Astley class we have started our new topic… Minibeasts!

We have started by reading the story the very hungry caterpillar and we can’t believe how much he needs to eat to become a butterfly. We have all been fascinated by the transformation that takes place during the lifecycle of a butterfly, so much so that we decided to get our own caterpillars in class so we can watch the changes with our very own eyes. We will keep you posted on their development as they days go by. In Maths this week we have been ordering our numbers 0 – 20 and counting up in twos (please keep using the maths packs at home). Some of us have also been looking at one more and one less using a number line to help us. A very busy first week back!

 Enjoy you’re weekend!
