The Naughty Bus

This week we have been reading all about the Naughty Bus who drives around London, amongst other places, everyone did a super job remembering all the different places he had visited. Alongside reading the book we thought we would make some of our own Naughty Buses, we used old boxes and bottle tops/ yogurt pots to build the bus then painted them all red and they all look marvellous =D

On Monday we very sensibly walked over to church and had a look around, we talked about how we behave in church and why we go to church. This is in preparation for Harvest Mass on Wednesday at 10am next week when we all go to church together as a school, everyone is welcome.

A quick note about the last day of this half term (Friday 23rd October) DRESS UP DAY! Every class is dressing up as something related to the country they are learning about, in Astley class we have been looking a Great Britain, focusing on London. Here are a few ideas if you need inspiration…

The Queen, Big Ben, Queens Guard or even something simple like dressing in red with a London bus/ phone box picture on the front, or dressing in red, white and blue. It is entirely up to you.
