Birkacre Art!

On Thursday 2nd July Birkacre Class visited Holy Cross High School’s art department. They spent an afternoon working with Miss Ryder and some Year 7 volunteers.

We looked at the work of an artist and replicated that work in our own style. the children worked on techniques such as mark making and layering and printing as well as using media such as chalks and oil pastels.

The children were a credit to the school and their families, they enjoyed their afternoon and produced some interesting work.
