In Yarrow we have been preparing for the year 1s empty class room day…
This week in Yarrow we have been preparing for the year 1s empty class room day, with courses such as PE, reading, find it and maths. This helps the children of Y1 learn in a more creative way. We have set up various courses to entertain the children but help them learn in a fun way too. When the children have completed the tasks, we will read their chosen books to help them understand different words for their future.
Also this week, we have been recreating the work of Eric Straw. These are faces made up of different materials. In addition, making Maasai Masks was a brilliant as Mrs. Rennison guided us all the way, showing us what they really look like – With her perfect demonstration.
The only thing left to do is our leavers assembly, which if you want to attend, it will be on the 17th July. We will be dropping hints about what our play is about but we hope to see you there! It will be a box of fun!
