Stepping Into Dragon’s Den!

This week in year 6, we had some special visitors from Young Enterprise. We looked at what a business did and some of the roles and decisions involved. Then, we had to come up with some cunning ideas to earn cash fast. We thought of some great products such as:

Fashionable jewellery

Homemade Fairy tale books

Personalised Cards…

And so much more!

All week we have worked so hard preparing for the summer fair. That is when we will sell the ideas by making our own businesses. If you would like to come to the summer fair it is on the 4th of July. There you will be able to buy your child’s or other children’s fantastic products.

Also this week, we have started a new topic, Africa.  We will be learning things about different life-style, food and how they learn. We have already focussed on the different climate within Africa and how that affects where people live.
