It’s a bugs life…

What a truly wonderful time we have had in Astley Class this week! We have been treated to lots of exciting things and we are feeling very lucky! Firstly, this week we had the pleasure of welcoming John and Tracey (The Bug people) into to our classroom and they didn’t come alone, they brought along butterflies, stick insects, cockroaches, gigantic snails, a tortoise, a huge Chilean rose spider and one of our favourites a snake!! Everyone was so well behaved and listened very carefully so John and Tracey trusted us to hold some of their bugs and reptiles… we were very brave!!!

On top of that we also went on a school trip to Martin Mere, once again everyone was beautifully behaved and we enjoyed Minibeast hunting, pond dipping, flamingo spotting, duck feeding and of course some time of the play area, it was a wonderful day!
