Flutter, flutter butterfly…

What an exciting week we’ve had in Astley Class. We have had the pleasure of watching our tiny baby caterpillars grow fatter and fatter, build a cocoon then burst out as beautiful butterflies. On Friday we took our butterflies down to the garden of EDEN to release them into the wild, one of them enjoyed our company so much he didn’t want to leave!!!

Alongside all the excitement we have also been writing our hungry caterpillar stories using a story map and actions to help us, what tremendous writers we have in Astley Class!
