Y6 Residential Trip to Isle of Man
After an eventful ferry ride (to say the least) Y6 are finally back at school from their adventurous trip to the Isle of Man. They have had a fantastic week taking advantage of all the different facilities available at the Venture Centre during their stay. They have tackled an assault course through the trees, perfected their aim in the art of archery, taken their shot at the air rifle range, made their mark axe throwing, reached new heights rock climbing and that's only the land activities! They also braved the cold waters to try their hand at kayaking and test their raft building skills.
It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to strengthen their bond with lots of team building activities. They also attempted an assault course blindfolded relying on trust and teamwork. They also worked together to build the tallest tower of crates, climbing as they built! The children and staff had a fantastic week and made memories to last a lifetime. The children were a shining example of what it means to be a pupil of St Joseph's. We're super proud of them and can't wait to see what more they'll achieve in their last year of primary school.
