Fly little butterflies, fly, fly, fly

This week our caterpillars fully transformed into beautiful butterflies, it was amazing watching them emerge from their chrysalis and flutter around their net whilst we gave them flowers and apples to eat. As much as we loved having our butterflies in class we knew we had to release them so they could be free. So on a glorious Thursday afternoon went walked to the Garden of Eden and opened up the net, two of the butterflies flew straight out followed shortly after by one more, then there was just one left, he wanted to spend a little bit more time with us before he said goodbye.

We have also been looking forward to our school trip and have completed risk assessments to ensure we all stay safe and have a wonderful time at Martin Mere.
