Fun at Hothersall!
Fun at Hothersall!
We’ve had a rather different week in school as we’ve been on our residential. We went to Hothersall Lodge and had a fantastic time trying new challenges and facing our fears.
We participated in lots of different activities such as climbing, caving, archery, orienteering, pond dipping and abseiling…the list is endless!
The most challenging part of the week was probably trying to make our beds when we arrived as some of us nearly got swallowed up by our duvets and sheets! We also did lots of jobs like cleaning up and helping to get things ready for our meals, so if you’re reading this parents – get us helping at home!
A further highlight of the week was playing and spending time with people from our class that we might not usually sit near or play with. Despite there being some very tired faces in class today, we’re looking forward to keeping these new friendships and growing them even more!
