Africa…

This week we have been getting ready for our Africa topic. We have begun by reading the story ‘We’re going on a Lion hunt’ everyone has really enjoyed reading the story and joining in with the parts that are familiar to them. Therefore to fit in with our story and topic we have turned our role play into a jungle, where the children can hunt for Lions themselves, along with any other African animals they might find in there. Everyone in class worked together to think about what we would need in our role play area and some children even helped make the resources! It has been a great first week back, well done everyone!
