Watch this SPACE
We have begun our adventure into space this week by firstly thinking about what we know about space and also by thinking about what we would like to know! Our minds were blown to discover that all the stars we see in the night sky are actually suns and that our galaxy alone has in the region of 250 billion stars in it... and that our own sun is only an average sized sun….the possibilities of what could be out there are endless. Very exciting. Next week we will be focusing in on our own solar system. Watch this space!
We have started our science fiction literacy unit by looking at possible alien planets out there and created them using colourful paints and cling film. This helped us to think about, and describe them.
In maths we have been problem solving and taking on some pretty hard problem….must remember that they wouldn’t be problems if they were easy!
