The few weeks since half term have been so busy Mrs Crowther hasn’t even had time to write a blog. So here’s what we’ve been up to.

Over the holidays we worked hard to build some amazing caves to put on our display about the Stone Age. We have also learnt so many new historical terms that our heads are spinning with words like Neolithic and chronological.

We’ve started learning all about rocks and fossils and some of us are quite excited to find out exactly how fossils are made. Again we are becoming experts at using some really technical language like Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. I wonder if anyone can explain what they are.

We’ve had a new member join our class and we’d like welcome Hektor to our school family he seems to be settling really well and making new friends.

Earlier this week Chorley School Sports Partnership came to work with us and set us some challenges as part of a huge competition spreading across all of the schools in Chorley. We can’t wait to find out the results.

Finally we have begun to learn the songs for our Christmas productions. Watch this space for more details.

How many weeks till Christmas? We’re ready for another holiday already!
