Bright lights! Bright lights! This week we have been learning about UV light and how dangerous it can be. We have set up a little experiment in our class to see if we can observe the effects of UV light. We have discussed how we can keep ourselves safe from UV light during the coming summer months.

Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink… Mrs Crowther has had us measuring capacity and volume but we weren’t allowed to drink any of the drinks she brought in. Some of us found it quite tricky to estimate how much was in each container even though we knew we could compare it to the size of a 330ml can of pop.

Finally we have been thinking about positivity and having a growth mind set. We have looked how we can give constructive criticism to help our partners to improve their work. We have a new phrase in school, instead of saying, “I can’t!” we are changing it to, “I can’t do it YET!”
