What an exciting morning.

What an exciting morning. Today we have learnt about perimeter but rather than just measuring around the outside of shapes on a piece of paper we got to make our own. We used art straws to make our own shapes. We measured each of the sides and then added them together to find the total length of the perimeter. We were able to check our working out by lining each of the straws up against our rulers to check if they came to the same total that we calculated.
