A Wonderful Week-End!

This week-end 20 of members of our Birkacre Class celebrated their Sacrament of First Holy communion and Confirmation. They all looked very smart but most importantly they all behaved with real reverence and devotion. The School Choir also attended and sang beautifully.

The children had a lovely day and had a party in the school hall, the other classes made them congratulations cards and Father Peter came to share their Holy Communion breakfast and bless the gifts the children had received.

On Sunday the children celebrated another mass and took part in the Blessed Sacrament Procession where again they behaved with devotion.

Well done Birkacre, you were a credit to our school and your families. We are all very proud of you. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to prepare you for your special day.
